The problem

Remote patient monitoring hardware sits in someone's home, not a clinic. It has to be legible to an older patient, easy for a caregiver to reposition, and reliable enough for the clinician on the other end of the call.

Approach

Online market research compared the existing landscape of docks, hubs, and conferencing devices across price points to locate the gap the product had to fill.

The resolved direction pairs a weighted base with a foldable, wide-range adjustable viewing arm for portability, and a clear status ring so patients can tell at a glance whether the device is connected and measuring.

Outcome

A final design direction documented with foldable and adjustable configurations, CMF intent, and in-context visualization of measurement and video-visit use.
